Great article, Sandy! Extremely informative and I couldn’t agree more. In Johns creek, we lived in a townhouse community with an HOA and got a warning about Louis’ plants being too “messy.” We had some veggie plants hanging over the deck and a full compost on the ground below. These are things I thought we would be getting compliments on, not warning notices to tear it down!

I could only imagine how beautiful it would be to see wild flower patches or veggie/herb gardens in peoples’ front yards filled with butterflies instead of boring manicured lawns that waste money and water.
